Monkey Tamarind was inspired by an old Calypso song and tells a tale of a young man receiving advice from his family about making major life changes and questioning the ethics of his actions with a young lady crush. A monkey tamarind is an itchy fruit that grows in the Caribbean and is often used as a prank in schoolyards across the islands. “Mama said don’t scratch that itch...”

Monkey Tamarind pays tribute to foundation ska but brings a modern approach to the genre.
